What is Narrative Therapy?
Narrative therapy is based on the idea that we all carry stories about who we are, our relationships, and what we’re capable of. Over time, difficult experiences—conflict, loss, trauma, criticism, or self-doubt—can shape those stories in ways that feel limiting or heavy.
In narrative therapy, we gently explore the patterns and beliefs that may be influencing your life. Together, we separate you from the problem, identify strengths that may have been overlooked, and create space for new, more empowering possibilities. Rather than focusing on what’s “wrong,” narrative therapy honors your resilience and helps you reconnect with your values, voice, and preferred direction forward.
